DAVID BECKHAM: MADRID CAREER REVEALED

Manchester United legend David Beckham didn't leave the Red Devils on his own terms. This is mainly due to his fallout with legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

His move to Real Madrid came as a shock to some football stakeholders. David Beckham was due to join Barcelona before the ex-Three Lions of England captain decided that Real Madrid was a better option for him.

Manchester United were determined to sell after his falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson and they had an agreement in place with Catalan club Barcelona before the decision from the player as pointed out earlier.

BECKHAM ACKNOWLEDGES RASHFORD ON GOAL RECORD

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has acknowledged Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford after he equalled his goal record for the Red Devils at the weekend.

David Beckham scored 85 goals for Manchester United in 394 appearances during his 11-year stay at the club. During his time at Manchester United, David Beckham won several trophies including the treble at the end of the 1998/99 season. The Englishman was 28 when he left Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid.

Marcus Rashford has been able to equal the goal record of David Beckham in 141 games less than the games it took for the ex-England national team skipper to reach that mark. Marcus Rashford has now scored 85 goals in 243 appearances for his beloved team.

INTER MIAMI KEEN TO SIGN PHIL NEVILLE

Inter Miami are keen to add a new manager and the club are looking at a former teammate of David Beckham, Phil Neville, who is available after leaving his job as the women’s national team boss back in July.

Neville and Beckham played with each other for Manchester United and England. During this time, they had developed a great deal of understanding that has resulted in Neville now being considered as a potential manager for Inter Miami, who are a club owned by David Beckham in the MLS.

A lot of parts have been taking place between the MLS outfit and Phil Neville, who also played for Everton for several years before deciding to call time on his career in 2013. Since then, he has been in charge of the Great Britain and England women’s team.

NEVILLE SET FOR INTER MIAMI JOB

Premier League icon David Beckham is the co-owner of Inter Miami in the MLS (Major League Soccer) and his club has announced the departure of manager Diego Alonso.

To this effect, Inter Miami are shopping for a new manager and ex-England international player Phil Neville has been strongly linked with the vacant managerial job at the new MLS outfit.

Phil Neville is no stranger to David Beckham after the two football figures played together for several years at Manchester United. Phil Neville and David Beckham were part of the famed class of ’92 at Manchester United. They were part of the Manchester United squad that won an unprecedented treble at the end of the 1998/99 season. Manchester United won the Premier League title, the FA Cup title and the Champions League trophy at the end of that campaign.

BECKHAM WANTS PLAYER AT HIS CLUB

David Beckham is the co-owner of Major League Soccer (MLS) team Inter Miami and he's said to be interested in raiding his former club in the current January transfer window.

Recent reports claimed that David Beckham wants Manchester United shot stopper Sergio Romero to join Inter Miami ahead of the 2021 season in the MLS. The Athletic confirmed that David Beckham and Inter Miami want to sign Argentine international goalkeeper Sergio Romero who has fallen down the pecking order in the goalkeeping department at Manchester United.

Sergio Romero has not featured in the Manchester United squad this season as he has been frozen out of the team thus giving David Beckham the opportunity to secure his signature if talks with the player prove to be successful.

I'D HAVE LOVED TO PLAY WITH MBAPPÉ - BECKHAM

It's not often that a legend will make such remarks regarding a younger player still who are just getting into their prime, David Beckham has claimed it would have been a dream for him to share the pitch, and on the same team with Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé.

The young French forward has already reached 100 career goals at such a young age and has attracted loads of praises from both past and current players, and is widely considered to be a top generational talent.

Mbappé ended a barren run of games without finding the back of the net but finally broke the hoodoo in the French Champions' league game against Montpellier.

LAPORTA MADE FALSE CLAIMS

Lluis Bassat has revealed that former Barcelona presidentJoan Laporta was able to secure his presidency in 2003 by falsely claiming that the club had signed David Beckham.

The signature of the England international was sought after back in the 2000s when it was becoming clear that he would leave Manchester United after falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson.

One of the few clubs could afford his signature was Barcelona, who were believed to be in the race to sign him. However, Beckham eventually went to Real Madrid, who were the front-runners for his signature throughout the race.

DAVID BECKHAM JOINS FIFA 21 SQUAD

EA Sports have announced that Premier League legend David Beckham is the latest icon to be added to FIFA 21. The announcement was made by the gaming company earlier this week. It was revealed on Wednesday that the former Manchester United winger would be joining FIFA 21 as from the 4th of December.

The iconic footballer will join other icons with his own icon items on FUT(FIFA Ultimate Team) 21. His icon items celebrate his Real Madrid debut in the Spanish La Liga.

The former England international skipper made his debut for the Los Merenguesagainst Real Betis at the start of the 2003/04 season and shortly after his transfer from Manchester United. His item also has links to La Liga, Real Madrid and England.

INTER MIAMI GET THE BETTER OF ATLANTA

Atlanta United charted a new course when they faced Inter Miami with no Designated Players for the first time in their sojourn in the Major League Soccer (MLS). They lost only 2-1 to David Beckham’s Inter Miami. However, the issue is they are now farther than the reach for Eastern Conference Playoff.


Atlanta have only won Cincinnati and Nashville in the MLS while they remain hopeful againt others in the league. They are amongst the bottom four in the conference with the others being newly formed expansion club Inter Miami, DC United and Chicago Fire FC.
