INTER MIAMI IN TALKS FOR RONALDO

Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Inter Miami are reportedly in talks to sign veteran Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo. This is according to journalist Stefano Benzi who revealed that Portugal international Ronaldo is closing in on an agreement to join Inter Miami co-owned by David Beckham. David Beckham was influential in the appointment of former Manchester United teammate Phil Neville as the Inter Miami manager though the two parties have maintained that Neville was given the job on merit.

On the possibility of Ronaldo signing for Inter Miami,Benzi told CMIT TV that negotiations have already started between the player and Inter Miami. He added that Manchester United won’t stand in the way of the transfer to the MLS as the Glazers are keen on getting him off the wage bill at the club. The Glazers are the controversial owners at Manchester United.

NEVILLE CALLS OUT HIGUAIN AFTER DEFEAT

Inter Miami manager Phil Neville has called out Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain after the defeat at the hands of Los Angeles FC (LAFC) over the just concluded weekend. Neville and his Inter Miami players were on the end of a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Los Angeles FC as they made it three matches without a win at the start of the new MLS season.

Phil Neville singled out Higuain for criticism in his post-match reaction to the LAFC defeat as he said that the former Real Madrid and Chelsea striker has to perform for Inter Miami to be successful.

BECKHAM CONTINUES TO FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT MESSI SIGNING

Lionel Messi may still be a Paris Saint-Germain player since signing last summer after controversially leaving Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona, but he has not stopped attracting interest from some other top clubs across Europe. Even before joining the French Principality club, he was strongly linked with a transfer to English Premier League side Manchester City. It was believed that he was keen to reunite with his former manager Pep Guardiola who he played under during a successful stint at Barcelona.

Famous Arsenal fan and media practitioner Piers Morgan recently made tweets about ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid winger David Beckham now known as Beckham rant as he said that the Englishman was hugely overrated during his football career and that he won’t get into the Invincible Arsenal team that went through the 2003/04 Premier League season without a single defeat on the way to winning the title.
A lot of football stakeholders disagreed with Morgan over his Twitter rant on Beckham including BBC Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker who's one of the greatest goalscorers in the history of the England national team.

WARD-PROWSE CLOSES FREE-KICK GAP ON BECKHAM

England international midfielder James Ward-Prowse has closed the gap on English football icon David Beckham on the list of the most successful free-kick takers in the history of the Premier League.

Ward-Prowse scored a magnificent free-kick from a long way out for Southampton during the Premier League clash with hosts Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday to take his free-kick goals to twelve (12) and behind only David Beckham in the Premier League era. He hasthe same number of free-kick goals as Frenchman Thierry Henry who’s a legend at North London club Arsenaland Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola.

KNIGHTHOOD FOR DAVID BECKHAM IN 2022

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham will reportedly become knighted in 2022. David Beckham will become Sir David Beckham next summer and this is in recognition of his numerous charity works. Beckham is an English Football icon who has a football club called Inter Miami in the MLS (Major League Soccer).

In over two decades, 46-year-old Beckham was said to have raised around £50m for charitable causes mainly for kids charity UNICEF.

BECKHAM MAKES RARE OLD TRAFFORD APPEARANCE

Manchester United legend David Beckham made a rare appearance at Old Trafford on Thursday for the Premier League encounter with Arsenal. David Beckham received a good reception from the Manchester United fans during the game.

David Beckham is part of the class of ’92 alongside Ryan Giggs, Phil Neville, Nicky Butt, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes. They all came through the Manchester United Academy before playing for the senior team. Beckham spent the best years of his career on the right side of the Manchester United attack. He went on to play for other clubs such as Real Madrid, AC Milan, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Los Angeles Galaxy (LA Galaxy).

BECKHAM EYEING EVERTON TARGET SANCHEZ

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham is about to be in the black book of the Everton fans with the news that he's attempting to secure the transfer of Inter Milan forward Alexis Sanchez, a target for Rafael Benitez at Everton.
FCInterNews revealed that David Beckham has set his focus on signing Chilean forward Alexis and that he has sent him an offer to play for his Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit and this could be at the expense of Everton. Inter Live had earlier said that the Toffees are keen on signing Alexis who earns £123,000 at the San Siro.
David Beckham is undoubtedly a legend of the game, but he might need to convince Alexis in the bid to sign the Chilean for his MLS team.

WILSHERE WANTS INTER MIAMI MOVE

Jack Wilshere is interested in a move to the MLS (Major League Soccer) as he continues to improve his fitness levels at Arsenal. The Englishman is presently on the search for a new club after his release from Championship leaders Bournemouth in the summer.
England international Wilshere said that he would love to join David Beckham at MLS outfit Inter Miami while he was on TalkSPORT earlier this week to talk about Arsenal, his next career plan amongst other things.
