European giants Manchester United and Atletico Madrid have been tipped as potential destinations for talented young FC Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa. The 22-year-old goalkeeper is represented by super agent Jorge Mendes, and the Portuguese super-agent is looking to secure a big move for his client next summer.

Costa was initially linked with a move away from the Portuguese club this summer, but Mendes and FC Porto have decided that it would be better for the 22-year-old goalkeeper to move next summer when his value peaks.

Romeo Beckham is hoping to following in the footsteps of David Beckham by playing at the top of the game. During his time, David Beckham played for the biggest clubs in the world including Real Madrid and AC Milan. He also played for Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Manchester United and LA Galaxy.

At the moment, Romeo features for Inter Miami. It must be pointed out that he's a regular for the Inter Miami II team in the USL Championship. He’s not an important player for the Inter Miami team in the MLS yet.

This is according to French publication Le Parisien which stated that a member of his entourage revealed that report of an agreement with Inter Miami is not true.

Journalist Alex Candal of DirectTV Sports had earlier said that Messi will team up with David Beckham at Inter Miami. Ex-Manchester United star David Beckham is a co-owner at the MLS team and former Manchester United teammate Phil Neville is the manager.

Just like Argentine senior national team skipper Messi, David Beckham also played in the colours of PSG before he called time on his career as a professional football player.

INTER MIAMI IN TALKS FOR RONALDO

Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Inter Miami are reportedly in talks to sign veteran Manchester United attacker Cristiano Ronaldo. This is according to journalist Stefano Benzi who revealed that Portugal international Ronaldo is closing in on an agreement to join Inter Miami co-owned by David Beckham. David Beckham was influential in the appointment of former Manchester United teammate Phil Neville as the Inter Miami manager though the two parties have maintained that Neville was given the job on merit.

On the possibility of Ronaldo signing for Inter Miami,Benzi told CMIT TV that negotiations have already started between the player and Inter Miami. He added that Manchester United won’t stand in the way of the transfer to the MLS as the Glazers are keen on getting him off the wage bill at the club. The Glazers are the controversial owners at Manchester United.

NEVILLE CALLS OUT HIGUAIN AFTER DEFEAT

Inter Miami manager Phil Neville has called out Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain after the defeat at the hands of Los Angeles FC (LAFC) over the just concluded weekend. Neville and his Inter Miami players were on the end of a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Los Angeles FC as they made it three matches without a win at the start of the new MLS season.

Phil Neville singled out Higuain for criticism in his post-match reaction to the LAFC defeat as he said that the former Real Madrid and Chelsea striker has to perform for Inter Miami to be successful.
