MADDISON: ARSENAL TOLD TO PAY £60M

Arsenal will have to pay at least £60m to land their top attacking midfield target this summer. This is according to the report from the stables of English publication Football London.

The Gunners have made Leicester City midfielder James Maddison their top transfer target. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen to add a creative midfielder to his squad and Maddison has been identified as a perfect man for the job. Alongside Real Madrid player Martin Odegaard, they are two attacking midfielders being targeted by Arteta and other Arsenal officials. The Gunners want to sign at least one of Maddison or Odegaard before this summer's transfer window ends. Odegaard knows a lot of things about the current Arsenal setup having spent the second half of last season at the club on a loan deal from Real Madrid.

Manchester United and England left-back Luke Shaw has praised the influence of David Beckham on English football. Shaw spoke glowingly about David Beckham on the YouTube channel of the England national team when the Manchester United defender was asked about the player that he would like to have in the current England setup under Gareth Southgate.According to him, he would have been delighted to have David Beckham as a player in the present England squad.Shaw went on to say that he was star struck when he met David Beckham at the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil.

MAS REVEALS MESSI TALKS WITH BECKHAM

Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas has revealed that fellow owner and Manchester United legend David Beckham has had serious talks with Barcelona skipper Lionel Messi over a possible move to the Major League Soccer (MLS) to play for Inter Miami.

Mas revealed the information concerning Messi and Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham in an interview with Miami Herald. According to him, Inter Miami is committed to bringing quality players to the club and that Messi is a generational player whom the club would be delighted to have on their rooster.

INTER MIAMI EYEING MOVE FOR LUIZ

Major League Soccer (MLS) club Inter Miami are keen to sign Arsenal defender David Luiz when he becomes a free agent in the coming weeks. This is according to French football journalist Mohamed Toubache-TER who said that the Brazilian international has been added to the list of priority transfer targets.

Premier League legend David Beckham played for the likes of Manchester United, AC Milan, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Real Madrid during his playing career and he has since moved into football career. David Beckham is now the co-owner of Inter Miami and he would be hoping that his influence can prompt Luiz to sign for the club.

Inter Miami co-owner David Beckham has been named on the 22-man potential inductees list as far as the Premier League Hall of Fame is concerned. Beckham played in the Premier League in the colours of Manchester United for a period of nine years between 1994 and 2003.

During his time at Old Trafford, David Beckham attained legendary status at the club winning six Premier League titles in the process. In addition, he also won the Champions League title at the club at the end of the 1998/99 season. Beckham was an important member of the Manchester United squad that won an unprecedented treble at the end of the 1998/99 campaign. In addition to the Champions League that season, Beckham and Manchester United also won the league title and the FA Cup title.

BECKHAMS MOURN LOSS OF PRINCE PHILIP

David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham have mourned the loss of Prince Philip who passed away on Friday at the age of 91. Prince Philip was the Duke of Edinburgh until his death.
